Shadows in the Stubble

Shadows in the Stubble

$580.00Price

"Shadows in the Stubble"

  • 41 × 41 cm
  • Oil on Board
  • Wildwood Valley

These hay bales sit along Wildwood Road, not far from home. I love the strong shape of a single bale against the cut paddock, especially when the afternoon light turns everything gold. The clouds gave the scene extra energy, while the distant trees and rolling land kept it grounded in the working landscape of the valley.
