PAST EVENTS
Margaret River Region Open Studios
12th - 27th September 2026
This September, I opened my studio as part of the Margaret River Region Open Studios, Australia's largest open studios event, running from 12 to 27 September 2026.
It was a wonderful chance for visitors to step inside the space where my paintings come to life, see works in progress, and take in the textures, colours, and light that inspire my coastal landscapes. Alongside the open studio, I hosted Fire and Water, an exhibition of new paintings and sculpture by Nigel Lullfitz inspired by the elements and the South West landscape.
We opened with a lovely late afternoon in the garden with sparkling wine, a guided walk through the paintings and sculptures, and plenty of good conversation, followed by weeks of visitors coming through the studio to see the collection in person.
Open Studios gave everyone a self guided art trail across the region, and so many of you made a day of it, exploring, discovering new artists and stopping by to say hello.
Thank you to everyone who visited the studio, supported the exhibition and took a piece of the South West home with you. Big thanks also to Nigel and his family for being part of Fire and Water alongside the sculptures. It meant so much having you all there.
