"Before the Bay Wakes"
Bunker Bay has been part of my life for many years, from summer days there in my twenties to walks with the dog now. In this painting the beach is almost empty, with long shadows across the sand and the last colour holding in the water. I wanted to capture that familiar coastline at a quieter hour, when the day is nearly finished but the sky still has plenty to say. |
