The last light of the day has a way of changing everything. At Mosman Beach, the warm glow spread across the water and sand, while the sky softened into layers of coral, gold and blue. I was drawn to the contrast between the stillness of the shoreline and the gentle movement of the sea, with each wave catching a little of the fading light.
 
This painting is a reflection of those evenings when the colours seem to linger just a little longer, inviting you to stop, look out towards the horizon, and enjoy the simple beauty of the coast before the day gives way to night.
