This painting shows one of my favourite views at Meelup Beach in Dunsborough.
 
I wanted to capture the bright blue water, the soft sweep of sand and the calm curve of the bay framed by the peppermint trees.
 
The shadows on the grass and the stillness of the water remind me of slow afternoons spent here, looking out over the coastline and taking in those classic Meelup colours.
